World High School
World High School is an online comic written and drawn by 18 year-old Wednesday Law. Not only does she have an art technique refined beyond her years, she also has a penchant for experimentation with the comic form and styles of storytelling.
World High School is your typical anime school filled with typical teens and teachers, with one difference: every major character is a personification of a religion or belief system. There’s Jesus Christ, Lao Tzu, Moses, Vishnu, and a veritable pantheon of others. Oh, yes, and then there’s God— he’s the atheist.
The comic is still early in its development, and parts of the storytelling feel a little rough. But one of the most exciting things about web comics is watching how they (the comic and the artist) grow and develop over time, I will be watching this one with interest.
