Yeah the food poisoning cracked me up. The anti-Semitism, not so much. Be interesting to see what gets edited out of what goes up. The "live" services, it must be noted, went up far ahead of the posted time, however.

The singalong at the beginning was truly inspired; two British-Israel hymns in a row!!

CoG-PKG members were instructed, in that last sermon (be interesting to see what kind of modified version goes up on the site later) to start talking about "the book" (Ron's book) a little bit to their families but "don't push" and "do it wisely".

After March 18th, is when they're being instructed to start talking to anyone and everyone about it, and apparently there are going to be cards made available for them to hand out to the general public. Wonder how those are going to be made available, and what they're going to say.

(I should make up a few of my own, with the WW address on them. Nothing like countering one cult tactic with another.)

The important thing to note that the "family members" CoG-PKG members are being instructed to recruit will most likely have exited out of Armstrongism themselves, or may still be in another splinter. This will help to fulfill Weinland's "prediction" no doubt, that "the scattered church" will all come back under his (Weinland's) "protection".

I can't see it myself. Family members might get a few to go along for the ride, based on reactivating the old WCG cult programming (and likely out a desire to end the tension that exists in their families, with members belonging to different splinters), but UCG flatly refuses to answer emails regarding Johnny Harrell being a former minister with them, and if Bob Thiel is any indication, he thinks Weinland's the anti-christ! (Thiel sits at the right hand of Meredith, and I assume, with Iron Rod's chronic health problems, that Thiel is really the one driving the LCG now.)

Anyway. Rotten Ron's predictions regardless, the membership's going to start really pushing the recruitment drive over the edge, after March 18th.

Jonathan,

This is a warning: this thread is not a place for you to air conspiracy theories: it is a place to discuss the true/false prophet status of Ron Weinland. Looking over your past comments, you mostly talk about conspiracies, but lace a few references to Weinland into your comments, so it's hard to dismiss you as completely off-topic. On the other hand, it appears that the conspiracy theories are primarily what interests you. So I'm telling you: take those elsewhere. If you want to defend yourself over my assessment, then e-mail me: don't do it on the thread. This will be your only warning.

P.S. The reCaptcha words for this comment were "future unclear". It's like a Magic 8-ball! :D

The problem is not so much about believing in a god or not, the problem is: in what god a person believes in, and what a person calls god. Ronald Weinland believes in the god of Abraham, others believe in different gods, others say they are all the same god but that man interprets this god in different ways which causes the different religions. While I believe these have some truth there are a couple of other aspects to think about. If we look at the possibility that there are highly advanced beings that live in our universe (The Disclosure Project) then a theory rises that one of these beings came to us and told us he was the god of the universe and used his advanced technology to prove to us this was true, and also instilled fear into us to make us submit. Maybe this one being manifested itself in many different ways(different gods) in order to practice textbook Machiavellian philosophy. Maybe it is several advanced beings, all claiming to be a so called god. Ronald Weinland has used the story of Sodom and Gomorrah as an example of gods ability to act out judgment on people, but if we look at the story through modern eyes and modern evidence of the site thought to be Sodom, we see radioactive particles in the area indicating a nuclear weapon was used. This is simply an advanced being that used advanced technology on the people. There are three options for Ronald Weinland:1)he is who he says he is, 2)he is another typical false prophet, 3)he is a tool being used by the NWO. Remember, the people who scoff at the idea of an NWO are usually the people who have not done any research on the issue.

Also, I am not sure if the issue of the identity of the second witness has been discussed on this blog, (if so let me know which part this topic can be found) but I was wondering what peoples thoughts were on this. I do know that he/she will not be revealed till the last 3 and half years starts.

Wow,
This is a very interesting blog, and I've only read most of the first page... It is interesting because all of this talk of God is on an atheists blog, at least from what I gather. Robert (Ironwolf), on the fist page you said that if God wanted you to believe in Him, He would basically put the proof there in your face and make so undeniable that you would have no choice but to believe in Him. Maybe not in those words but that's what you said. Well sir I believe it is no coincidence that you are involved in this discussion, call me what you want but that's the truth. Man, God's been tugging at you for a long time now, and you will come to terms. As for evidence and the such, it take faith to believe anything, including to be an atheist.

Bottom line is that God is real and all will know it eventually. Ponder this, If you live your life believing in God and when you die, there is no god, what have you lost? But if you live your life not believing, and when you die He does exist as does everything else, what will you lose?

I think it should be noted that Mr Weinland purposely modified "The Mystery of God Revealed - Pt. 2" sermon to remove several minutes.
I listened to (and recorded) the live sermon broadcast that day, and he forgot his "file" and spent several minutes quite flustered trying to get someone else's computer to work and makeshift the relevant notes.
While I can understand removing this for the sake of continuity, it also demonstrates he's not above altering his audio files to remove unfavorable evidence. He was also extra quick to post the files.
The other question some would ask is: if he really is a prophet sent by God, why is he getting all flustered and not prepared? Human fallacy I guess.
In the same vein, he mentions in the 3rd part (sermon.mp3 linked to the live broadcast link) that he had food poisoning and can hardly finish for a soar throat. If the two witnesses will be able to stop the rain while they preach, why does God (or Satan?) seem to be trying to shut him up now? And if a Levitical diet is so superior, how'd he get sick? Bad fish.
