rkay101....out of curiosity, how did you know about the green bar? I've been using that way of listening to new sermons for a long time. I just hadn't ever mentioned on here because I didn't want anyone in RWs group who is reading to inform him, because then he might stop posting them there

Thanks Robert.

Damn, Peter— am I not speaking clearly enough? The 2011 thing isn't for discussion here. It just isn't germane. Last warning.

<!--One thing I found interesting relating to Oct. 2011 or just the year 2011 in general.

What is Ron's target audience? I am thinking splinter group members and young adults. His main way to target the young adults would be his web site. Those who followed up on 'Ron Wienland' would find sites such as these.

Web sites such as these cost Ron money. Thats why he ranted about it before his last sermon. Thats also why he would want to have his version of things in here as well. Thus the presence of 'dewayne'.

He may not show up here since he has been 'outed'. At least not as 'dewayne'. I also don't think he is the only one.

btw, you can listen to the unedited sermons by doing the following:

you can go to the bottom of the sermon's page and click onto the "green" bar that goes across the bottom. The unedited sermon from the previous Sabbath will pop up and you can listen to this one instead.

WW: Now the church is saying “It is not known how long it will take for this to be completed [the sounding of the first trumpet on Apr. 17th]”, and “it could take 6 to 12 months”. (This according to a form letter the church is sending out to any who question the “prophecies”.)

The congregation will have to decide what to believe after April 17 when nothing happens. Will it still make sense to follow RW after he has broken one of the 10 commandments? Exodus 20:16 . A lie is a lie.
In fact a 'false witness' bares a double meaning in this case...or worse.
Therefore a (grade school) fill-in-the-blank statement would go something like this:
Ronald Weinland has tolled a lie (liar liar pants on fire) therefore he is a

The problem with that is RW has made a point of calling any date that comes and goes a spiritual event for the church. In January 2007 when he predicted the 7 thunders would begin to sound powerfully...and they didn't. He told members that maybe something happened on a spiritual plain, that he didn't know. But he was quite sure in December and early January that it would happen. He said it was his petition to God. Well obviously God didn't pay attention to his petition because nothing happened. When his first book came out he said it was for the church and not the world. I'm sure if he was getting the kind of recognition by now that he obviously thought he would by this point, he wouldn't be spiritualizing everything away. Notice page 106 of his book
“I have also made a petition to the ETERNAL God of Abraham.
My petition is that this first phase of the Fifth Thunder be
fulfilled exactly as it is written here. This request is so that
scattered brethren who are asleep might be awakened and know
that God has granted them the opportunity to repent and return to
Him at this time. Also, it is so that they may know that I am His
end-time prophet, His spokesman for the two end-time witnesses.”
Since notable members of splinter groups haven’t died yet, I suppose
God is ignoring this petition also. Unless you want to take the RW approach and
Say the 6th and 7 thunders are overlapping.

I was listening to some of the radio interviews the other day. RW would catch the hosts off guard by talking about how much better the world would be if people would follow the 10 commandments. Even if they just followed 1 or 2 of them. He spoke about commiting adultery and stealing, and how much better it would be if people in the world wouldn’t do those things. I wish one of the hosts would have made a point of asking if there was ever adultery or stealing in “God’s True Church”.

TF said:..."“The “shock and horror on the day the seventh seal is opened” became “It was only spiritual”

"Spiritual events are WAAAYYYYYY more significant than any other type of event."

Yeah...but FOR a witness/spokesman/prophet....HE MUST be held to HIS word..that SUPPOSEDLY comes directly FROM GOD...

On page 83 of RW’s book, he is discussing the transition between the Sixth seal and the Seventh seal. He states, “The transition of both phases is coordinated to lead into the opening of the Seventh Seal.” He also says this, and this is an important detail, “The physical phase of transition that is occurring during this present Sixth seal is the period when prophetic end-time events escalate, on a physical plane, with increasing destructive power that is best depicted as a pregnant woman in labor pains. But there is more to this phase of transition that will lead to the opening of the Seventh seal and the destruction that will come at the blowing of the first four trumpets.”

I believe this part of his book nails down his point that MUCH physical destruction will happen before the 7th seal is opened because he said “LEAD INTO” the 7th seal. I take him at his word, if he is a true witness of God. The 7th seal was opened in March and I believe we should have seen something REAL and ESCALATING that would have pointed the WHOLE WORLD to look toward a supernatural “being” or a true spokesman from God for an explanation. He also mentions the destruction at the blowing of the first four trumpets, not necessarily the sound of the first of four trumpets that will blow so he gives himself some “room” for destruction past the sound of the first trumpet, but he is still ambiguous at best.

On page 85 RW says, “As we approach the end of this spiritual phase of God’s work, a physical phase of destruction has begun in the world.” This means, that if ANY of RW’s prophecies DON’T come to pass, he cannot claim a “spiritual meaning” behind his proclamation. As he stated on this page of the book, the spiritual phase passes, then the physical stages come in. He has made a distinction between spiritual and physical phases and shouldn’t mind being held to this distinction if he is truly God’s anointed.
