Not even Weinland has any skills to get a real job……..none of the ex-Worldwide ministers of misery did, which was why so many of them ran off and formed their own churches when it all hit the fan.

There are 700 splinter Churches of God by some estimations, which includes the “single-church” splinters. Yes I believe those are CoGs too, for all that they declare themselves “independent”.

On ‘Year Nearly Over’ he wrote: Beginning in February, those thunders will increase dramatically, and by April this world will begin to be shaken to its foundations

In April 17th on what EVIDENCE and or on what grounds will he claim (official) the title of God’s true end time witness?
For instance so far there has been NO EVIDENCE to back up such claim.
I can claim to be the king of England. And so can everyone else!

He stated that ‘everyone’ will have by the very least recognized him before this April 17th thing. So if he has his job dubbed ‘official’ and given more superhero powers (ie spew fire out of mouth, bring plagues of his choosing on the earth) he would be missing out on one detail. Nobody would even
know who he is! Show me the money!

If he wants to play ‘end of the world’ with his church…that’s fine, there is nothing to stop him from doing so…but please leave the world out of it!
The world does not need another ‘lets pretend’ psycho clown.

Bear in mind Weinland also said he would stop preaching by Pentecost or by July. So he is still wiggling on the dates. Especially with his whole “I haven’t the foggiest idea what’s going to happen on April 17th” schtick.

If he doesn’t know what’s going to happen, that provides a god-sized escape clause that “Whoops, we don’t need to go to Israel after all!” Or there are other, darker possibilities for the Weinlands themselves…….. Could that be why the Harrells are going along? No wait that implies some human compassion in Johnny Harrell’s actions, that clearly isn’t the case.

Elder Don Edwards and his wife/family might also be in the travelling party as well (they were in Los Angeles when the Weinlands were, and the elder giving the closing prayer in the Netherlands mentioned there were Americans travelling with the Weinlands), wherever that “travelling party” ends up going on 17th April……….I believe there was mention made of a second elder being ordained in the Phoenix area, which would back this theory up.

The other factors that have to be considered, whether Weinland is drinking his own Kool-Aid or not, is if Harrell is too, or if he’s just in it for the money. I would say it’s likely Harrell is in it for the money, given that he’s been down this road with Worldwide before. I guess Harrell figured out how to play Weinland, unlike the ex-Worldwider from Washington who tried to get an eldership out of Rotten Ron last week……..

And still, and still, through all of this, I just can’t get a bead on the wife! She’s the second witness, but is she nuts like Weinland (not likely), battered/brainwashed into submission (more likely) or just going along for the ride because of the fancy home/cars/goodies? That last option is the most likely of all; she has been around since Weinland’s Worldwide days.

But the question is valid: Is the little woman milking her husband’s delusional state for all she can, is she a true believer in the church and what he’s doing, or is she the one who’s been overboard from the beginning and she actually believes she is the second witness, and Weinland is the one who’s milking her delusions for the money?

Regardless of Matthews and Harrell taking over (which I predicted way back in the conversation), something is definitely going to happen to the Weinlands on April 17th, and to the members of their church, if Weinland does decide to pull a fast one, no matter how convinced he is of his “prophet” status.

Do you really think Weinland would “pack up and move from the golf course” though nsj? Like you said earlier, and as Banncam has said, as all of us have noted, he doesn’t seem the type to just walk away from it all. Especially when he keeps pushing the dates forward as he does.

Time will tell. Three more weeks for some, five more weeks for others, Pentecost or July for Weinland himself (if he doesn’t push it ahead again).

The remainder will end up still going to church and tithing and not even thinking about asking for their money back, after 2009 comes and goes, and 2010, and 2011, and 2012, and 2013……..

Oh and IronWolf i understand this is your blog but if you’re gonna bother moderating you’ve gotta be more on point…I notice how quickly you’ve been changing pages but you gotta notice alot of the posts are mindless banter, i and i dont just mean cuz a couple of lines are off topic, i mean dudes like kurt just saying random nonsense for multiple posts at a time…even tho i know he’s not an idiot cuz when he’s being serious i pay attention to his point of view.
