July 4th: Happy Birthday, Rube Goldberg!
A few suggestions for celebratory activities in honor of Rube Goldberg, famous for creating comics depicting insanely complex machines that ultimately perform trivial tasks:

- Participate in the Democratic process
- Watch a Japanese kid’s show
- Watch the most amazing commercial and its making
- Play with virtual glass
- Go insane trying to make your own
- Or just follow the blue balls

Yes! Awesome.
One thing is missing however - a reference to The Incredible Machine series of games, where you essentially solved Rube Goldberg puzzles (or just played with parts freestyle).
