The Grizzly
This is the Grizzly, baptized member of the Worldwide Church of God for over 18 years. Forced to separate from my fiancee, forced into the mind-numbing conformity and financial hardship of supporting "God’s End Time Apostle", and long suffering member of the Spokesman’s Club as well. After almost two decades in the WCG mindset of crushing my personality and renouncing all that I knew and loved, putting up with the tryannical local and headquarters ministry, serving in fundraisers and "volunteer" activities……… I finally got back to square one, after examining the glowing promises and incredible scenarios outlined to happen to those who lived under "God’s Government" …..and finding out that all Armstrong’s predictions fell through, and that for a "True Church" of God, I encountered some of the most hateful and fucking SICK bastards It’s ever been my misfortune to know in my life! Now I live basically by the Yaqui Indian philosiphy of being a "man of power", accessing knowledge through psychedelics and contact with what are termed "Allies". Carlos Casteneda’s 1961 book "A Separate Reality" explains the lifestyle and mindset and core of that way of life the best of any literature available. So I fly into the night to encounter the music of Yes, Pink Floyd, ELP and others, trying to rebuild my mind after it was basically destroyed by years in Armstrong’s money machine that masqueraded as a religion. So, what to most would be considered "blowing the mind" with drugs and heavy music….. is actually re-building and pruning what’s left of mine… see you at The Gates of Delirium, Long live Yes and Floyd, DOWN with HWA, Garner Ted, and "headquarters", I’ll take FREEDOM any day!
