I joined the Worldwide Church of God in 1984. I was baptized by Pastor David Frazier in Oahu, Hawaii. At first everthing was normal. Mr Armstrong was still alive, but I begin to notice a strangeness in the congregation. They like separated people according to color. I really do not mean to sound racist, but this is the way it appeared to me. Then I begin to question, only to be told that I was not to question. It was all downhill from there and shortly after Tkach, Sr. took over, I was asked to leave the church. I am glad now as I look back.
