From Feb 2nd, 2008 All 144,000 are sealed
Time: 49:00

"to realize... and we can't, to realize what is taking place in heaven today, to realize the celebration, the joy, and the excitement in the angelic realm. The excitement of God almighty, after working, to do his greatest work ever. The most profound thing over 6000 yrs, and to be able to say it is finished."

How can his followers not realize that this is all just made up?
There was also a fast that RW called for that day.  A fast that apparantly meant nothing.

nsj - Weinland learned his trade from another really good false prophet; Herbert Armstrong. Time and time again members of Armstrong's church were ld that this or that was to happen in 6 months, 3 months, 6 years, within 3-5 years, it was all a bunch of crap.

Weinland speaks for God??? Not hardly. Not at all. He is a nut - he is a liar - he is evil and he will be rewarded for the work that he does. Right now I would say it is probably straw - and it is being burned - by his own hand - the words of his own mouth have condemned him to his title. FALSE PROPHET...

It is sad about our families stuck in the mess. So sad. But, we do have freedom to be...duped.

You are right!  Problem is...many must have deaf ears to hold him to his words.

NSJ,

Yes - you are right.  It is all just a big fat lie.  I too felt the same way like a big slap in the face - years ago.  And after a whole bunch of money that I could use to help my Mama and maybe retire one day, helped a bunch of hypo crits get rich.  I just cringe when I think about seeing HWA in that UTube click where he is sitting at that table of elaborate fine things and thinking that RW is planning the same ole thing for himself.  The "Church"had us so scared about the end of the world and when prophecy didnt fulfill, we had to tithe and give offerings even more so we could get back on track.  It makes me so mad when I think about how many peop like me and my friends and fam that went without needed stuff so we could prove how good Christians we were by giving up more tithes.  Thank goodness I woke up and got away from it before it was too late.  I just had to grow up and get out from under the authority of some peop to do it though as I had this forced on me as a teenager. RW had a bunch of good teachers to get these ideas from.

Sorry to be so cynical.  It just really makes me mad sometimes.

I understand....I see it in my family every day.  Didn't mean to offend anyone who might have been in the same situation in the past and kept following.  l just wish they would turn away from this.

nsj - I don't believe you offended any of us that stuck it out all those years ago. We were duped! It is still so sad that it happened and is happening again to some of our family members....arrrghhhh!!  Undecided

CallieMae - I think that girls can wear makeup in cog-pkg. The few women I have seen in the group either have never worn it or wear very little, but, if I recall some that go to church with my family wear some. But, I don't know what their official doctrine might be on the subject.

They don't really have anything against wearing make up...unless its in excess.  RW used to give several sermons on moderation regarding dress, alcohol, etc.  He would go on and on for weeks in his so called "inspired" sermons with whatever trip he was on at that particular time.  Like 3 weeks in a row he babbled on and on about smoking and using the word crap.  Then it was about just drinking one or two beers or 1 glass of wine and calling it a night.  Oh, then there was a 4 parter on not smoking.
You can tell he doesn't prepare very well for sermons.  But I guess since he believes that since he is inspired by God that the words will come.  Unfourtunately for him and all the listeners, a little more prep time wouldn't hurt.  That is why you get 5-7 part sermons on the same subject, because he can't stay on track.

He loves to hear his own voice in his ears....Worships his own words and voice.

TALLY HO from the U.K.
I think ronald weinland is broadcasting from England today. That means the seventh day sabbath starts earlier. I am going to give a concise commentary on his sermon today.

Wow, he even tells the choir to shut up and listen. And again two minutes later. As on the Titanic the band played on. Then I found out it wasn't a choir, just music.
Then when he starts "preaching" his cellphone goes off.
There were only two parts of the sermon I liked. At the beginning someone other than Ron said a sincere prayer and again at the end of the sermon someone said a sincere prayer. Often when I here a british accent I think of Monty Python. "There are some who call me ......Tim."
Ronald Weinland continues to interrupt the Word of God with his interpretations of what the written word REALLY means.

I wish Ronald Weinland would read the Revelation of Jesus Christ, Chapter 11, verse 6:
"They have power to shut the sky, that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as often as they desire."

Those words are Holy. Ronald Weinland is not a prophet. Unless you spell it profit.
Do not give any money to this man. You would do well to give your money to the poor on the streets, or the poverty stricken in your own community.

If you want to learn about prophecy, read the new testament of Jesus Christ. The words that came out of the mouth of Jesus warn us of false prophets like Ronald Weinland, and any others who put a bible in front of them and start babbling.

I love how quiet this board is.  Used to be pages of posts a day and now you might see 1 or 2 posts every couple of days.  That just means that Weinland is becoming so irrelevant that he's not even worth talking about.  Of course, he's not irrelevant to me because he still has hold of my family, but I'm glad people are losing interest in this nonsense.
