I'm sorry to hear that nsj. I hope you don't feel like we have abandoned you! If things are quiet, it's only because there isn't much more to be said in the way of debunking Weinland. I know that's cold comfort for you, because your family hasn't been debunked yet, but I hope they will come around soon. And even if it isn't soon, hopefully they will come around some time. After all, everyone here has.

I hate how quiet this board is. Most of the individuals that have brought on interesting arguments have given up in their futile attempts for fear of not presenting their arguments within the constraints and confinements of this forums venue. It has turned into a court room setting where the judges say "strike that last statement", "delete this, delete that", "admin hominem this admin that, yada, yada, yada. All the lawyers have better things to do than discuss their beliefs on a forum that basically began for reasons of holding subtopic conversations of end time theories in a civilized manner. This forum began as an outlet for those of us with no elite formal education as a precursor for admission. As much as Todaysfate drove us nuts with his agenda, his arguments were at the very least thought provocative. I welcome different thoughts and ideas. Without them, we would still be in the dark ages sipping some stewed up brew everytime we took ill. That's my take on the cricket chirps lately.

I looked around in the woods the other day and I was wondering if all (or some or most) of the plants there were once "eaten" or used for medicine. I wondered if the vines, the weeds, the leaves had a greater purpose than just shade or places for animals to build nests. I thought about the Native American's use of the plants and even some early American's.... But the uses have been lost. This is just my wandering mind....

RW seems to thrive on the negative criticism, even though he says how much he hates it. He tells his followers not to read all the garbage people write him on the internet, even though he does. He'll go on an on about people making such a big deal about his small church. I'll bet he's frustrated that people have lost interest in him.

Honestly, his shifting timelines have become tiresome (especially since he RANTED and RAVED and MOCKED all those false prophets who preceded him for doing exactly the SAME THING he has done in the last few months). Ron Weinland is just a silly diversion for me. I really don't care what he has to say ("prophetically") but enjoy watching this arrogant Messiah-complex SOB fall on his face laughably. He needs to be put in the public "stocks" so that all who want to follow his rediculous, haughty attitude, false predictions will know what public scrutiny and humiliation they have to face. He really has been humiliated (by all those who test the spirits) due to his arrogance, but it appears he gets a few more months "reprieve" and possibly more income until it all comes crashing down. Honestly, who cares. He's as much of a freak side show as so many other false prophets this year. (Think Buffalo Bill Israel Hawkins)

Well, if it hasn't done anything else, the whole "it's-the-end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it-oh-wait-gawd-progressively-reveals" Weinland fiasco at least seems to have mitigated the false prophecy inclinations of the other splinter leaders. I haven't seen anything hit the false prophecy radar from Flurry or the Packatollah lately, has anyone else? Maybe Rotten Ron woke the other ministurds of misery up, to just how big a hole they can dig themselves, if they're not very very careful.

I'll bet he's frustrated that people have lost interest in him. Yeah.... I'm back to listening every once in a while as I did starting way back when I first heard about his ministry. I think he's just pulled out old sermon notes and basically giving the same messages he did a few years ago. BORING RON! REAL BORING!!

He wishes! Or prays so! But, I think once the "doom & gloom" and "Fire & Brimstone" and "Imminent Death's" messages from Ron get fired up...these forums will explode with mockers and critiquers.

I hate how quiet this board is. Most of the individuals that have brought on interesting arguments... For some astronomically remote definition of "interesting." This forum began as an outlet for those of us with no elite formal education as a precursor for admission. This forum began as an outlet for my desire to foster public discourse about things I cared about. If you like it here, then stay. If not, then leave. But ultimately what ticked me off the most about TF was the whining. Capisce? As much as Todaysfate drove us nuts with his agenda, his arguments were at the very least thought provocative. That would have been fine. Except most of his arguments had nothing to do with where he posted them. The only thing TF ever had in common with Weinland was that they both believed (or at least talked endlessly about) the end of the world.

It's a funny thing reading Ironwolf's post. I'm sorry he died from cancer and all, but I'm glad there is high-speed internet in the grave where he goeth. Wherever you are, IW, stay grumpy! We won't forget you.

I'm probably going to continue lurking until then. IF it does explode, and I partly hope it does, then that's my queue to re-commence mockery. All his base are belong to us.
