NSJ & Current Members of the Church of GOD-PKG Who Still Support Weinland

I am not sure what Ron Weinland will say in his next sermon other than continue reading in his first book and criticize those on these various blogs and web sites. W2 is not necessarily a male, but maybe a female.  It is easier not be brow beaten or meddled with by the church members  if you stay gender neutral.
I wanted to take a break for a moment and speak to those who still believe in Weinland as the main spokesperson for the two final witness, but have doubts in the backs of their mind.  I think other posts have been made by others, but I wanted to make a new effort, since W2 new departure.  I wanted to ask a few new direct questions to the current members: Have you read both books since the beginning of May 2008? Do you view any discrepancies and what Ron says versus what is in both books?  Do you buy the notion that Weinland does not really know what he wrote or what it means in prophecy?  Do you think the two books are divinely inspired by God?  Have you really paid attention to the sermons in the past three months?

Here are my suggestions:  Remember you do not have to take my word of it, go back study the information for yourself.
1.)  Go back and check your notes starting from March 15th 2008 to May 31st 2008.  If you did not take good notes during these sermons I urge you to record the sermon yourself during services in the next three or four weeks.  It is vital to you have an unedited sermon from which to refer back.  Then, check your notes that your wrote again and compare it to the edited sermon and what Weinland states in July about prophecy, his two books, versus what is posted on these various sites.  (Please do the research for yourself if you do not agree or believe in the people who have setup these web sites.)

2.)  Research these web sites after you have done your own homework.  You must be willing to have an open mind, after all there is a good reason you have doubts in the back of your mind.  After all an elder in the New England  States who supports Weinland is having doubts too, so you are not alone.

3.)  Compare and contrast what is on these blogs or web sites versus what Ron Weinland is saying. Please ask yourself some vital questions. He is right about prophecy?  Why has happened on this earth since April 2008 that you believe in Weinland about end time prophecy?  Is what you feel or think right now make real sense?  No matter what is said by anyone your religious life is between you and God.

4.)  No matter your conclusion is please think long and hard about it.  Life making decisions is not easy, but making the right choice is vital.  Cog-pkg current members it is up to you. If after all this self-reflect you still believe Ron & Laura Weinland are the two end time witness; then good luck to ya.

Feel free to glance back at this particular thread to read about my journey from defending the church to where I am today. I have asked other questions in the past on this blog, so you can head back and answer those in your mind too. Others on this blog I know have informative posts as well.

You make very good suggestions here W.

Also, those of you who are current members, try to identify and articulate what exactly is keeping you there because I suspect there are emotions of abandoning family/friends and all of your support system, causing an embarrassing stir or situation or disappointing someone you care about.

But NONE of those things have "eternal" value.  Because of the nature of this religion it is unlikely you have been involved in your community so you may not even have friends in the city where you live, but starting today you can begin to get involved in your community and begin to build a support system OUTSIDE your church congregation.

It seems strange, but it really isn't.  It isn't as hard as it sounds.  Start building a support system, make friends and the "loss" of the congregation friends will slowly fade.  It may never go away, it is sort of like a death of a loved one.  You never forget them, the thought of them still can make you smile, you just don't see them anymore.

You members who are thinking of leaving, or are thinking there is some falseness about Ron and his church, make the decision to leave.  If "faith" has kept you believing all this time, Faith can also get you to leave.

Hi w,

You gave excellent advice to those still in cog-pkg. Asking them to compare and contrast what RW predicted with the facts of what has NOT occurred was inspired. Getting them to do their own research and ask questions concerning RW’s veracity instead of relying on anonymous bloggers is the way to go.

W, you are encouraging the cog-pkg member to utilize critical thinking, and if they follow your advice the truth will reveal itself, and they will see it for themselves. RW’s inconsistencies and downright contradictions will be glaring to those who take the time to follow your outline of personal discovery.

This is an important post with the potential to free people from a very destructive man and his deceitful operation.

I thank you on behalf of my family members who are still hypnotized by RW, and these wonderful suggestions coming from an ex-member of cog-pkg carries more weight than anything others can say on this topic.

Thank you.

I cannot wait til June 1st, 9th, or July 18th, but it is time to go on with my life.  Ron, Laura, Johnny, Wayne, and Terry you lead us all down the wrong road and I am turning off before it is too late.

Hi w2,

It is gratifying to hear that you are going on with your life. I wish you the very best life possible, and I wish you every possible success in your life from this point on! Smiley

The Mexicans are coming, the Mexicans are coming! Shocked

NEWSFLASH: THE MEXICANS ARE HERE!!!!! Kiss

Xenophobia was part of RW’s prophecy? I must have missed that sermon.
Magisto, this is a really desperate attempt to make something out of nothing and tie it in with RW’s predictions. This is a ridiculous stretch…..try again.

Well, It IS TIME TO STOP TALKING ABOUT Weinland

Well, to those on this forum I bid farewell. The Church of Weinland has been discredited. At least 15 people I know off that were in the church have left.  I have done all that I can do.  Weinland has been discredited except for the few hundred who will have to figure it out for themselves.  The Liberals members of the church have all left.  Good luck to those still have family members. Whether or not the e-mail to the select few will be implemented depends on the sermons in the next six weeks.  It has always possible after it was exposed that it will not be implemented.  After all, if Weinland can con people to follow him without question, then why would he ever step down. I am no longer to speak about the Church of GOD-PKG because it no longer deserve recognition.

Bye,

W

"w" congratulations on making it to the other side of "the church", and give yourself a large pat on the back for helping 15 people out with you. I wish you the very best to you and the 15 people you helped, in all that you choose to do. Remember to never stop asking questions! Asking questions is what will set you free!

Thank you for all your assistance in the efforts to free people from Weinland's control, and please enjoy being free! Cheesy

Ho hum - another incoherent rant from RW has come and gone.

There is no point in dissecting RW’s “sermons” any longer, he is like a bad magician whose sleight of hand and misdirection is so obvious that his illusion wouldn’t impress a two year old. Unfortunately, hardcore members of his flock are still giggling and amazed by his peek-a-boo routine.

RW and cog-pkg is in the realm of the absurd that does not warrant serious discussion.

Those who want to indulge in spiritual fantasy must give some credence to RW, if they didn’t they’d have to question their own magical beliefs, and their whole metaphysical house of cards will fall with the gentlest breeze of objective reasoning.

I’m happy for “w” who was able to pry herself/himself from the cog-pkg mystical con, I hope many more will follow.

Praise "w" they have left --- he probably had more luck getting the insiders out, than any of us have --- we're just here to prevent people from getting sucked in, in the first place.
