Download here, stream here, and the church's version is now available here. (That was quick. Usually it's sometime through the week before they put the unedited version up in the "sacred" space.)

"Moderator's Note: I do respect "w"'s journey out of the church and I do want to help "w" in any way that I can. I do not want the church coming after "w" for legal reasons, which is why I have modified this message. I do not mean any disrespect to "w" and I hope they understand"

The Weinland's home address is public record for anyone who does a little bit of "home" work.

Duly noted.

W,

I feel sad for you.  I know just how you feel.  Everything will be OK.  I wish I was better spoken, to tell you.  I don't have the smooth flow of words as IW, PH and our other friends on here.  Just hang on, OK?  You are a smart person and you can figure this out.

katie, I didn't mean to represent any superior knowledge, Surely there are many more people with much superior knowledge than I posses. I was merely trying to point out that you shouldn't give your tithe to anyone. If I offended anyone I apologize. there are many more scriptures that talk about tithing. I used that one because it says what to do with your tithe, either grain, house plants, or what ever you had increase of.

The Plain Truth About Tithing Yes, it actually IS "the plain truth" about tithing. But I get the impression we have gone over this territory before.

"w" if you are out there, drop a line any time to let us know that you are doing OK.

I read this in "The Journal: News of the Churches of God"

Longtime Church of God member Jim Ussery dies in Big Sandy
http://www.thejournal.org/issues/issue125/jim-ussery-obituary.html

I guess RW will try to use this as one of the ministers of WCG that dies (even though it looks like he died of old age).

"Member" not "minister". And I think, after Saturday's sermon, Weinland isn't concerned about spinning the deaths of church members/ministers any more; he's just concerned about spinning his wheels.

Today, I want to put into print some questions I know the members of cog-pkg are asking themselves internally. Yes, the wheels are starting to come off the Ron Weinland Cog-Pkg church. Ron's sermon had to raise eyebrows of members worldwide yesterday. I have been where you are and come to realize that Ron is not a prophet or one of the two witnesses. Yes, I know Audra will send the money back for those who ask for it.  I have read a blog calling/asking on Audra Weinland to return all the money and stop all the google ads.

Friends, at this point the Google ads will continue and until is clear in late July that the second trumpet of the seventh seal in Revelation is not going to sound. So, money will be spent on this actually being the end of man's rule on the earth.   I make my second call to the elders and regular baptized members of the cog-pkg church to really reevaluate their role in the church.  Out of the 49 truths which ones are you going to continue to believe?  I am not advocating you stop believing in the sabbath, tithing, holy days, or the like, but stop following Ron Weinland about the end of the age prophecy.  It is a clear that Ron and Laura Weinland is wrong, so what do you plan to do?  I do not have any answers for you, but continuing to listen to Ron Weinland is clearly hurting your spiritual growth.  Please hold your tithe back and do not give it to Ron Weinland or cog-pkg.  Finally, if one or both of the evangelists takes over in August are you going stay in the church?
It all comes down to these simple questions to ask of yourself.  I hope you make the right decisions because I have been where you are.  I don't advocate you make them lightly, but staying put will only hurt your spiritual growth.  I just hope everyone will make the right choice and in the end continues to believe in God and Jesus Christ.  I know some on this forum do not believe in God, but this post in mainly addressed to those who still remain in the church or have friends/family members still inside in the church. Hopefully, those who have been financially hurt by giving too much, will ask for the money back today if not sooner.

Thanks for your post "w" we have been waiting to hear back from you. I hope you are well. You might also want to post your appeal over on the Two Witnesses forum, it is a discussion forum set up specifically for the CoG-PKG, and it has a restricted area for registered members who have exited the church.

I tend to agree with Mike's blog post on Don't Drink the Flavor-Aid: I hope Audra is proactive; instead of just giving back the money that is requested, before Pentecost (After all, when nothing happens the day after Pentecost, what recourse will those who have "held fast" have?), she needs to go through those books she's been cooking, and give back EVERYTHING that has donated to the church, over and above the 10% tithe. (I personally think she should give back the 10% tithe too but that's just me.)

As for you "w" I hope you are doing well. I know you probably feel very alone right now, and I want you to know that you are not. It may seem like a strange new world out there, being "in the world" and "of the world" at the same time, but I can assure you that it isn't the terrible and apocalyptic world that Weinland had you believing in. I hope you can see the brighter side of life now, and the better side of people---even those who don't believe in "the church" or one of the splinters anymore.

Keep pressing forward, and any time you need to talk, my Inbox is always open! weinlandwatch@gmail.com

I was going to make a smooth transition to lurker status, and then fade away, but I have to follow up to "w"'s very meaningful and inspiring post with a message of my own to those who are still in Ron Weinland's organization.  Especially to my own family that remain there.

For those who are in Ron's organization, and would like to continue searching for a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ, please allow me to remind you of some things you already know, but may be having a hard time concentrating on during this time.
First of all, just because you have made certain choices that have led you to Ron's organization that does not mean you are "lost" or "abandoned by God" or have yourself abandoned God in any way.  Life is filled with choices.  The world is an imperfect place.  God understands that.  You see, if you feel like "I have to follow Ron Weinland or else I have to believe that God isn't leading me", then that is the false notion you must overcome!!  God IS leading you... He's leading you back to Himself.  You may have wandered a bit, but this opportunity is set before you to return no questions asked.  The organization that you had for a short time chosen, the COG-PKG, is a tax shelter and that's all.  The body of Christ is not any physical organization.  Since you know this, then you know the condition of COG-PKG has little bearing on your relationship with God.  LEAVE it behind and continue to follow in the Way.  God has not abandoned you to anything.  He is breaking up the works of that false prophet in hopes to retrieve you!  You're not lost, and you never were!

Remember that "all things work together for good to those who love God".  Do you believe this?  Then turn this lemon into lemonade!  Perhaps this was a hard lesson to have to experience, not something you would have chosen to go through had you known, but thank God you've had it, it's over now, and you can move forward!  Don't think of it as anything unusual because you know life is full of various trials and tribulations.  Consider the benefits: now you know that this COG-PKG must be broken up, and all organizations like it.  Now you know WHY they must be broken up: the church is in Christ, your leader is Christ, your hope is Christ, your faith must be in Christ, and no man besides.  Now you know more about what to look for in a minister - and that Matthew 7 is your best guide (as opposed to dates and grand claims).  Maybe you're closer to a literal interpretation of Matthew 13: 44 than you'd like.  You've sold all.  But was it really to buy in to COG-PKG?  DO NOT THINK OF IT LIKE THAT!!  Instead of an empty promise you've purchased an invaluable life-lesson.  Of course it looks dark right now.  Your family will need some time to heal, but they will get over it and you'll come back together again very soon.  Your friends are still there, they haven't gone anywhere, keep in touch with them!  Do not focus on that past, or on any perceived failure, but on the hope of your clean and bright future.  It may be dark now - but look at how the sun is rising!!

Lastly, remember all the warnings against bitterness.  Don't let that take root in your heart.  Ron Weinland has his own trials to go through now.  Even he said, just last year, that should he prove to be a false prophet you should blame him entirely and not blame God.  If he's said one true thing, that would be it.  The worst thing you could do is to let it all make you bitter.  Why have God snatch you from the mouth a wolf simply to turn away to bitterness and hopeless negativity?  You know completely that each and every one of you is of such high value that Christ thinks you of more value than Himself.  HE died for YOU.  Don't forget that!  I suggest you help yourself by turning this experience into a fabulous opportunity to help others just like yourself that need a positive influence right now.  Defeat that natural urge to be negative through positive encouragement, by helping others who need you.  Start using the benefits of your new hard-earned understanding as God intends right away, for the good of others in need!

Well ive just read his latest sermon, and i,m surprised if he has any followers after this sermon...Tragic to say the least!..A prophet that probably takes a week to think up his Sabbath sermon so,s that he can manipulate his writings to extend timelines on Physical destruction...."but the 17th its spiritual i tell ya"...if that is so how does he expect anyone to believe him, as the "physical" is the only thing that is going to bring back the Messiah...I mean shit..God reveals specifics to The End Time Prophets, not rough estimates. For if he did then we,d all be prophets as we can all say.."Well the end is nigh..soon i tell ya...soon,as soon as God reveals to me...then i,ll tell you when its gonna happen, and that will be when you see it happen"...One Final note..................I would love to see Ron go head to head with one of the Moderators on here..I know he wont as he would get ummm..how shall i put it?.."Frustrated"...I think that would be it for his church......Its a shame it truly is Bretheren...If anyone has the latest Cinncinatti interview could you post it,as i,d like to see why Ron gets frustrated....I dont hate Ron..hes just made me angry as ive had an emotional rollercoaster ride, with thoughts about my young family due to his very charismatic destructive prophesies....
