Dear Friends,

This is the second installment in the saga of our continuing cross-country adventure. The juggling festival in Las Vegas in mid-July was a blast. Since then, we have visited Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, Arches, Dinosaur, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Craters of the Moon, National Bison Range and Glacier national parks/monuments. We recommend an annual national park pass if you too plan to do this someday. For those of you who are not familiar with all these places, we've been through Utah, an edge of Colorado, an edge of Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. We visited the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, and have camped in several national forests along the way. We recommend Jackson, Wyoming for a summer home if you get rich. :) We only just missed Prez Clinton on his whitewater vaction there. We know this must all sound great, but the weather turned colder and wetter after we left Salt Lake City, and we will have to invest in warmer sleeping bags and a tent that stays dry inside if we're going to continue camping. We also spent about a week in Missoula, Montana and found it to be a charming small city with friendly people. We've found some colorful places: did you know that Charlo, Montana is "home of the Mission Mountains Testicle Festival" (whatever that is)? All things considered, we're having a good trip. We hope to get all the way to Chicago (weather permitting) before we head south at the end of September.

Your Friends,

Robert & Rebecca McNally

P.S. Drop us a line and let us know how you're doing!
